The multi-disciplinary staff at Rolling Hills Hospital emphasizes a family-oriented, strength-focused approach where parents and caregivers are encouraged to be active participants in the treatment team throughout the adolescent’s stay.
Our mental health professionals provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of adolescents with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues including:
- Suicide attempts
- Self-harming behaviors

Treatment plans typically include a combination of psychotherapy, behavior management, crisis stabilization, family counseling and medications. In addition, the Adolescent Program includes a developmental history along with physical evaluations and pediatric consults.
Early intervention and effective treatment, especially if it begins soon after symptoms appear, can help reduce the impact on an adolescent’s life as well as decrease future problems in adulthood. Adolescence is complex by itself, and when behavioral health issues emerge, deliberate and sensitive support is needed. Our Adolescent Treatment Program can help teens and their families become more resilient in the face of stress and other difficult circumstances.
